These are programs to generate form and perform structural optimization.
"Keiriki-2" solves frameworks made up of linear members, while "Keiriki-3" solves shells.
Under the principles that parts subject to greater stress are thicker and heavier, and parts subject to less stress are thinner and lighter, and same forms/same loads, the programs generate the lightest frameworks.
They could be called minimum design generators.
